FourSnap — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
FourSnap (“the app”) is a photo editor made by FOURKCOMPUTING (“we”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. The short version: the app works entirely on your phone. We do not collect, store, sell or share any of your data.
What the app does with your photos
- Photos you open are read from your phone only when you pick them in Android’s photo picker, or when you share a photo to FourSnap from another app.
- All editing — including the AI features that find subjects, cut them out, select hair and sky, remove objects (AI Eraser), retouch faces and upscale small photos — runs on your phone. Your photos are never uploaded anywhere.
- Face retouch finds where the eyes, irises and mouth are in the photo you are editing, on your phone, so it can brighten eyes and whiten teeth. Those points are kept only inside that project, on your phone; they are not used to recognise anyone and are never sent anywhere.
- Projects you keep and the last unfinished edit are saved in the app’s private storage on your phone. They are deleted when you delete them in the app or uninstall the app.
- When you save or export, the picture goes where you choose: your phone’s Photos (Pictures/FourSnap Editor), a file location you pick, or the app you share it to.
Internet and data collection
- The app has no internet access of its own and contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or account system.
- We do not collect personal information, device identifiers, location, contacts or usage data.
- If you choose to download the optional “Precise selection” or “AI Eraser” models, they are delivered by Google Play. Google Play’s own terms and privacy policy apply to that download.
- If the app shows Google Play’s rating card, it is Google Play that shows it and handles any rating you leave; the app never learns whether or how you rated it.
Crash reports (optional, only if you send them)
If the app closes unexpectedly, it may offer to send a crash report the next time you open it. Nothing is sent automatically. If you tap “Send report”, your phone’s share menu opens and you choose how to send it (for example, by email). The report contains technical information only — the reason Android gives for the crash, the app version, the phone model and Android version, and the app’s recent technical log. It contains no photos. You can read it before sending, and you can decline.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
